John Benitez, better known as Jellybean Benitez

Jellybean Benitez was an important person in the New York party scene in the 1980s. He was born in the Bronx and was a great DJ who used all kinds of music like disco, hip-hop, and Latin rhythms to make people dance at the Funhouse club with another famous DJ called Larry Levan. Jellybean also made new versions of songs for famous singers like Madonna and Michael Jackson. Because of this, he became very famous all over the world. Today, people still love his music because it makes them want to dance and feel good.
