Mike Marquez:

Alright, it’s your boy Mike Marquez here, alongside Robert Hector at WMC Miami Music Week. All of the dopeness, palm trees literally behind me and in front of you, but they don’t know who you are yet, so will you be so kind to let the audience know who you are?

Kaleena Zanders:

Thank you. I’m only Kalina Zanders in the world. You’re the best. Only Kalina Zanders in the world. Nah, I did my research.

Mike Marquez:

Wow. And you know what? If these people did not know why you’re the only one, let’s give them that whole background as to why you’re the only one. Because there will only be one, Cleena Sanders, because you are doing a bunch of things right now. Talk to the fine folks about what you’re doing.

Robert Kechter:

Yeah, you have a song that’s currently out right now that’s still making the rounds,

Kaleena Zanders:

Well, I mean sure which ⁓ one? The one that I am obsessed with right now is “Daddy Keeps Calling”. It’s with Chami and that one is still it’s having some wings and I’m excited for it and I also have new songs coming out and I mean I’m super through the moon for that one.

Robert Kechter:

Which one? That’s… I heard, through the grapevine, and I’m a very connected person. Alongside being a very powerful and attractive man, so let’s talk.

Kaleena Zanders:

Okay. Yes, yes, toot your own horn, toot it baby.

Robert Kechter:

I have to because Mike Marquez is not going to. Or anybody else. (LOL)

Kaleena Zanders:

Okay, well, I’ll tell you. I can tell you when it’s going to come out. Wait, Friday? Next Friday. Yeah, 4-4. It’s called “Promise Will Live Again” because I wanted to write like a little lullaby to everyone, give them a warm hug, but it’s like fast, but my voice is like chilling. It’s like, know, it’s like. Yes.

Robert Kechter:

It’s going to come out on Friday. Tell us a little bit about it.

Kaleena Zanders:

Yes, it feels like 90s like a little reminiscent of that. It’s like 142 BPM Like it’s I’m so proud of it. Like I cannot wait for it to be out for everyone

Mike Marquez:

Now, how did all of this come about?

Kaleena Zanders:

Promise Malivagans? Well, okay. So, you know the world, right? The actual world, yeah. So, the world’s kind of crazy right now. And I was feeling a bit down, disheartened about just a lot of things. And I wanted to write something that I felt was going to help my own heart, you know? And then I was like, you know what? I think people need to hear this message in general. So, I could just say in the studio it was something powerful. And I was like, let’s do it. And we did it fast. And now it’s alive.

Mike Marquez:

You know what, the world is kind of you know no matter what side you’re on what no matter where you are Yeah, the world is a crazy place for everybody, and I everyone needs something that’s going to try to uplift them and give them a positive I don’t want to preach

Kaleena Zanders:

Come on out. But it’s true a lot of music right now is low-key, a little dark low-key

Mike Marquez:

It is a little bit dark. I think that I think people need some inspiration to get there, to get their positive up and get their morale up.

Kaleena Zanders:

Come on now.

Mike Marquez:

To our audience listening at home right now there is a spiritual connection I am just on the far end watching

Kaleena Zanders:

No matter if we are friends or rivals, to a song and dance we spiral, we got to break the cycle. Let’s have our own revival.

Robert Kechter:

That, right there.

Kaleena Zanders:

There it is. Come on now. There.

Robert Kechter:

Okay, so that’s what I want. I want to get a… with that, hey… You’re listening to Next Dance Music Radio.com.
